Camera

perapic uses the camera only to capture receipt-style photos you create in the app.

Photos

When you choose photos from your library, the app reads only the photos you select and uses them to create receipt-style images. Photos are saved only when you choose save or share. The app requests add-only photo library permission for saving and does not browse your photo library.

First-party usage analytics

perapic sends anonymous usage analytics to our own server to understand product interactions, funnels, retention, popular stamps, and upload reliability. Events include an anonymous random install ID, app version, build, event name, timestamp, session ID, environment, app distribution, coarse app language, OS major version, device family, and event properties. Photos, typed text, search query text, contact data, account data, location, email address, and payment details are not sent. Server analytics have a 90-day retention target based on server receipt time. Records past that target are deleted during the next successful analytics upload and may remain longer while uploads stop or fail. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app settings. When turned off, future analytics events are not recorded locally, queued, or uploaded, and pending analytics stored on the device are deleted. Analytics already received by the server remain until retention cleanup runs.

Purchases

Purchase state and save credits are stored on device and synced through Apple's in-app purchase system where applicable.

Analytics and Accounts

perapic does not include third-party analytics, third-party advertising, account creation, or a public user-generated content feed.
